Our Statewide Initiative Program
OK Humane’s Statewide Initiative began in 2019, with the goal of changing the landscape of animal welfare around the state. Using a multi-dimensional approach, we collaborate with animal shelters and rescue groups, bringing resources to underserved communities across Oklahoma.
Mobile Spay & Neuter Unit
One of the biggest needs in our state, particularly in rural areas, is access to low-cost spay and neuter and other veterinary wellness services. OK Humane’s Statewide Initiative Mobile Spay/Neuter Unit is a rolling surgery suite on wheels, enabling our team to bring spay/neuter to the communities that need it.
Statewide Team Contact Information
Hours of Operation
Monday- Friday, 7:30AM – 5PM
Appointment scheduling varies by location, please see our location and partner lists below for more information. For the locations scheduled through OKHumane Statewide (currently Edmond, Chickasha, Duncan, Guthrie, Crescent), availability is limited. If your preferred location is not showing then no appointments are currently available. Appointments open 4 weeks in advance of clinic date for local residents and 2 weeks in advance of clinic date to those outside the targeted area. Check back often as cancellations do occur opening additional slots. A non-refundable $25 deposit is required at the time of booking to secure your appointment. Appointment availability is limited and priority is given to local residents. Some partners only serve their specific towns/cities/counties/communities. Scheduling in our partner communities is explained below.
Please note that we are a mobile clinic which means, unlike stationary clinics, we could experience mechanical or weather issues that could result in clinic being cancelled with very little notice. In these situations, we will contact you as soon as possible and reschedule you at the earliest available appointment. We appreciate your understanding!
For Edmond, Chickasha, Duncan, Guthrie, Crescent, sign up here. For all other partner communities, scroll down to see how to schedule!

Become a Host Organization
Interested in bringing our services to your community? We work with animal shelters and rescue groups who want to bring our services to their area. We have limited availability but are looking for some additional partners, particularly in eastern Oklahoma! Our trailer can travel up to 2.5 hours from our home base in the OKC metro. We need a venue with climate control, running water, space to park our surgical unit, and some eager volunteers! If you are interested in bringing out our team, please email us at [email protected] for a more detailed list of what we require of a partnering organization.
