Adoption center is currently open for visits on a first come, first served basis.
Thank you for your interest in adopting an Oklahoma Humane Society rescue animal! To prioritize the safety of our staff, animals, and the public at large, our Adoption Center is operating on a first come, first served basis with a maximum number of guests allowed inside at any given time. Depending on the number of guests in the building when you arrive, we may need to ask you for some patience while we finish getting pets into their new fur-ever home!
Animals that are available for adoption today say “I am at the Adoption Center today” below their profile.
Adoption Center Hours of Operation are Tuesday – Sunday, 11:00AM – 6:00PM.
Unlike traditional animal shelters where dogs are kenneled round the clock, the Oklahoma Humane Society is foster based and dogs only visit our adoption center during business hours. Not every foster can get their dogs here every day, so you’ll see “E-Mail to Meet Me” on some of the dogs. Don’t hesitate to reach out – we’d love to coordinate a meeting for you!
Click on each dog’s picture to view their full profile and find out if they’re a match for your family!
