More Than 1,000 Animals Saved Annually | OK Humane Society

In addition to partnering with local rescues, the OK Humane Society—Northeast campus works as an out-of-state transportation hub for pets in need. The team currently works with rescues in California, Minnesota and the Colorado to transport animals from overpopulated or overcapacity Oklahoma shelters and rescues to give these pets a second chance at life. The OK Humane Society—NE Campus transport program helps create space so the team can focus their resources on the remaining animals in their care.

The OK Humane Society—NE campus is responsible for saving more than 1,000 animals annually through the transport program.
