Bear's Bio

Bear is a handsome fellow who is just a big goofball at heart who enjoys the company of other dogs he can romp and play with. When Bear isn't busy playing with his dog buddies, he loves to entertain himself with toys. He usually prefers a good rope or maybe the occasional squeaking plushy or ball. Bear is also a super good boy too and is crate trained and potty trained (once he figures out his routine at home). Although Bear is not the first to volunteer to get some cuddles, he does enjoy being around his people and soaking up the pets and treats.

Bear is hoping to find his perfect home where he can go on adventures with his people so he can continue to learn how the world works. While Bear loves to be active with his exercise, he prefers to let his introverted side out when at home, so would enjoy quiet home life. Since Bear does like quiet home life, we think he would be the happiest living with adult humans. Bear has been doing wonderfully in his foster home, where he lives with his foster mom and dad and his two dog friends. Bear tends to be a little too interested in the kitties, so would prefer to live in a home with no felines. He did need some time to figure everything out, but his foster family was very patient with him to allow him enough time to get used to all the new things. Bear is a VERY loving boy but does need a little extra special love when it comes to getting used to new people, places, and routines.

Bear is continuing to work on his socialization skills so he can easily approach any situation with confidence. He is still unsure of men but is learning a lot in his foster home. This handsome guy will be a loyal companion to anyone who shows him the little bit of extra love he needs. If you would like to meet Bear to see if you're the one he has been searching for, call or email us today.
